Shika Teppan-yaki Restaurant

Designed by APU, Teppan-Yaki & Sushi is a stylish modern Japanese Teppan-yaki restaurant located in Causeway Bay. Prior to entering the main dining area on the second floor, hungry diners will be led by a long and inviting stairway with raw cement walls. On entering the 2,700 sq.ft restaurant, a stunning sushi bar underneath the hanging filament bulbs presents its signature dishes. Unlike other Japanese restaurants, this project is characterized by colorful hexagon tiles, wooden floor, and the widely used wood and concrete materials. The design also identify the importance of privacy, therefore three VIP rooms are built to cater for luncheons and other private dining occasions. Further, the wallpaper bears traditional Japanese paintings, offering an unique, exotic dinning experience.
